“First and foremost, working with Bri has been a dream. She has focused on me and tailored programming to my specific needs that has not only made my workouts pain free but to see incredible results that I have never reached on my own. I chose online programming to fit my lifestyle and loved having workouts pre programmed into the app for me to use at my own gym. My hesitation for looking into personal training was that I did not enjoy having someone watch as I worked out and the cost of in person training was out of my price range. Be Kuhl and Balanced offered me the ability to have my training done completely online without feeling like I was missing anything since I wasn't training with Bri in person. What really sold me in joining was Bri's knowledge in mobility and long term fitness goals. My muscles would constantly be tight and in pain, especially in my lower back. Learning mobility exercises over static stretching flipped a switch and my body has never felt better. I feel like I'm less prone to self injuries while working out in the gym. I had also injured my shoulder/chest about 7 months prior to joining and I saw the most improvement within the first week using mobility exercises than anything has helped me before. Now after another 6 months I am bench pressing more weight than I was even before the injury. I was a "self taught" weight lifter and while training with Bri I was able to see what bad habits I had developed over the years and I relearned my techniques and programming. My relationship with nutrition also changed for the better after being guided while keeping track of macros in a way that fit my lifestyle and gave me the results I've been looking for over the years of working out. My experiences with Bri have never been anything less than great and I have taken so much from this to see the progression in reaching and maintaining my long term health and fitness goals.”

“My biggest hesitation before joining Be Kuhl and Live Balanced was putting myself first and investing in me. I don't do a very good job of that. It's very hard for me sometimes. I always fell for the Fad Dieting. Whatever was up and coming, I was going to try it. I have done that my whole life. You get results for a little, but when you change what you're doing, it all comes back.

“I always worked out, but I’ve found over the last 10 years there are better ways to workout depending on your goals. I started with Bri in 2019 and she’s helped build my confidence in my abilities in the gym. She’s helped me better my form and increase my love of heavy weight training. "In November of 2020, my back hurt every day and I was so frustrated I decided to make a change. I started working out and my back pain was gone in about a month. I continued with consistent workouts, small but sustainable nutrition changes and have continued to be back pain free, I've lost inches, I've lost two sizes, and I've experienced increased energy and improved sleep. "In 2021, I knew it was time to make a change. Like many, the stress on my mental and physical health during the pandemic had reached an all-time low. I wasn’t making the necessary time for myself. I would wake up and go to work, typically do the job of five people each day, working 100+ hours a week. My eating was irregular, and my alcohol intake had increased. On a good week, I would get 4 hours of sleep per night. I wasn’t showing up for myself or others in a healthy or meaningful way. Those who know me best, know this was soul crushing and I was really going through it.

Something needed to change but balancing everything on my plate was the biggest challenge. I couldn’t do it alone, so I decided to find a fitness coach. It was important to me to find someone who would challenge me but also have patience as I figured things out. In May of 2021, I found Bri. She has more than exceeded my expectations. She has helped me get to a place of consistent workouts, healthier eating habits, and most importantly, she has reminded me how to feel good about my body image and have fun while working towards a healthier me.
